What is WebADE Management?
WebADE Management is a web based application which enables the managing of application configuration for WebADE-based applications within the Ministries. It is in itself a WebADE application. Management abilities includes:
- Application metadata such as Applications, Roles, Actions.
- Application's database connection pool configuration.
- Application's Preference configuration.
- Default WebADE Preference configuration.
Installation of the application is not mandatory for a WebADE environment to function correctly. Most organizations have managed this metadata via database scripts in the past.
Technical Information
WebADE Management is a web-based application that is itself a WebADE application. It is based on Struts and follows standard J2EE design patterns. The following are the base requirements:
- J2EE 1.3 (JRun 4.0, Tomcat 4.x - 7.x, Oracle 9i - 11g, Jetty, Oracle Weblogic 10.3)
- Oracle RDBMS > 9.2
- WebADE 4.3
- Java SE 1.4
- JDBC
